TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following Terms and Conditions are accepted upon booking with Amy Fuentes.
1.0 COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
1.1 If you are unwell, have been in contact with anyone who has been unwell or are awaiting Covid-19 test results, I kindly ask that you get in touch with me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. Any person who is unwell on the day of their appointment will be declined service - no refunds will be provided in this circumstance. Symptoms include but are not limited to fever, fatigue, dry cough, difficulty breathing.
2.0 HEALTH, HYGIENE AND PERSONAL SAFETY
2.1 Makeup application will be refused if a client is unwell on the day of their appointment with any of the following: common cold/flu, herpes simplex (cold sores), eye infections (conjunctivitis, styes, eyelash mites etc) and/or general facial infections (rashes, sores, scabs etc). Please contact Amy Fuentes directly via email (hello@amyfuentes.com) to reschedule your appointment if any of the above apply. No refunds will be provided if a client is refused service due to any of the reasons outlined.
2.2 Amy Fuentes ensures that all products and tools are used hygienically during makeup application and sanitised after every use. It is the clients responsibility to inform Amy Fuentes of any allergies prior to their booked appointment. Amy Fuentes accepts no liability arising from allergic reactions or personal injury arising from the consenting use of the tools and products used during your booked appointment.
2.3 Amy Fuentes’ makeup kit including but not limited to tools, products and storage items must not be touched or handled by anyone other than Amy Fuentes to ensure proper hygiene and care is maintained at all times.
2.4 Amy Fuentes reserves the right to refuse service to any client/s who display inappropriate, abusive or threatening behaviour or where work conditions are deemed unsafe. In the event that Amy Fuentes refuses service, no refunds will be provided.
3.0 BOOKING WITH MAKEUP BY AMY FUENTES
3.1 A non-refundable 50% Booking Fee is required for ALL bookings made with Makeup by Amy Fuentes. This booking fee is what secures your booking and will be required via bank transfer within 3 business days of confirming you would like to move forward with your booking. If your booking fee is not received within this time, your booking will not be secured.
3.2 Any outstanding payment will be due via bank transfer 2 weeks prior to your booked appointment. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the exact date your payment is due. Amy Fuentes will provide you with the details for the direct deposit upon securing your booking. Failure to provide payment by this date will result in the cancellation of your booked date. Your booking fee will not be refunded.
3.3 For any Booking made within 2 weeks of your booking date: Your payment will be required IN FULL (inclusive of your 50% non-refundable booking fee) via bank transfer within 3 business days after confirming you would like to move forward with your booking OR immediately (with proof of transfer) if less than 3 days before your booking date. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the exact date your payment is due. If your payment (or proof of payment) is not received within this time, your booking will not be secured.
3.4 For Photoshoot Bookings; any outstanding payment will be due 14 business days following the provision of Makeup by Amy Fuentes' services and Tax Invoice via direct deposit. Amy Fuentes will provide you with the details for the direct deposit upon securing your booking.
3.5 Where no free on site parking is available, all parking costs will be charged to the client (i.e. hotel parking, meter parking etc).
3.6 Following The Bridal Makeover Trials, the client will have 7 days from the date of their makeup trial to secure their wedding date with a 50% non-refundable booking fee. If no payment is received within the 7 day period following the date of the booked trial, the preferred wedding date will be released and will not be guaranteed.
3.7 Numbers for group bookings are final upon paying your booking fee. If a person is ill or decides not to go through with the service after your booking is finalised, the appointment must be filled with another person or this amount will still be added to the final bill. If time permits, Amy Fuentes may accept additional people/services at the time of booking with payment made upfront in cash or by direct deposit with receipt shown to Amy Fuentes on the spot.
3.8 Any breakage or damage to Amy Fuentes’ tools, products or storage items by the client or any other person/s present at the time of the booking must be paid for by the client.
3.9 Public Holidays will incur a 10% surcharge which will be added to your total booking fee.
4.0 CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND LATE START TIMES
4.1 If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your booked appointment, please contact Amy Fuentes directly via email (hello@amyfuentes.com). Bookings cancelled with more than 72 hours / 3 days notice are given the opportunity to reschedule their appointment using their existing deposit. Bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours / 3 days notice will NOT receive the opportunity to reschedule using their existing deposit.
4.2 Clients must be ready at the time of their booked appointment to avoid delays. If the clients delay will impact other scheduled appointments, Amy Fuentes reserves the right to cancel that appointment without refund.
4.3 In the event that Amy Fuentes is unable to provide her services due to sickness, injury or any other personal matter, any payment received by the client will be refunded in full.
5.0 PERMISSON TO USE IMAGES AND VIDEO
5.1 All clients are asked to verbally consent any photographs or videos taken prior, during or after makeup application. These photographs and/or videos may be used on social media and www.amyfuentes.com for marketing purposes at any time in the future. If you would not like your photographs or videos used for Makeup by Amy Fuentes’ marketing purposes, please make this known upon booking.
Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Every effort will be made to inform existing clients of any changes after bookings are made, however this may not be possible in all circumstances.
